A motorist crashed into pedestrians at dawn on Saturday, August 10, outside a disco in Bazuel, in the Cambresis region. Several people were injured.
Several pedestrians were injured, including a young woman, after being hit by a driver’s car on Saturday morning outside the “le B-Box” nightclub in Bazuel near Cateau-Cambrésis, it was reported from CODIS 59 which confirmed information from La Voix du Nord.

The victims, two women and two men, were overthrown while standing on a sidewalk in front of the facility. Two of them were transported to the Cambrai hospital centre and one to Valenciennes. The last minor injury refused to be transported. The days of the young woman in her early twenties, who was seriously affected, would no longer be in danger.
The driver got away
Some twenty firefighters from Cateau-Cambrésis, Le Quesnoy, Caudry, Landrecies and Aulnoyes-Aymeries as well as a SMUR team were mobilized.
The motorist involved, who had fled after the incident, went to the gendarmerie this Saturday morning at around 9:30 am, says the Cambrai prosecutor’s office. He is 21 years old and has already been convicted of traffic offences. It is not yet known whether he acted voluntarily or not.
